‎The African Initiaton School for the Gifted.

March & SEPT 2027

WELCOME HOME GIFTED SOUL.

A return to the roots and A deeper relationship with the knowledge that has carried our people across generations.

For our first chapter, we are in gladness. ‎ ‎We present the African Initiaton School for the Gifted as a Traditional Healers flagship starting 2027. The course runs concurrently with the Autumn and  Spring Equinox respectively —one in March and the other in September. ‎ ‎The spiritual mentors will be waiting for you in the Namibian desert and springs to teach, impart indigenous knowledge and initiate you through the cultural drums and rhythm of your calling and purpose. ‎ ‎So welcome. If you are here reading this, there's a reason. ‎

We honour the elders, teachers, ancestors and knowledge keepers who have preserved these ways of knowing, often through generations of practice, devotion and sacrifice.

This is an invitation to listen, learn, practise and understand the responsibilities that accompany the carrying of traditional knowledge.

WHY INITIATION?

There is a difference between knowing about a tradition and being taught within one.

Initiation is a process of learning, transformation, discipline and responsibility. It asks us to become students of the knowledge of our Ancestors, to respect the people and things that carry it, and to understand that spiritual practice is not separate from how we live, serve and relate to our communities.

It is not about collecting titles or acquiring spiritual status. It is about cultivating understanding, humility, discernment and the capacity to carry knowledge with integrity as you live your purpose, using your gift to help others, yourself and this planet we inhabit..

OSHITAYI - THE BRANCH

The Branch | A Living Circle of Initiates

An initiation does not end when the ceremony is complete. The journey continues in how we live, learn, remember and grow.

In Oshiwambo, *Oshitayi* means **the branch** — a branch connected to the greater tree, drawing nourishment from its roots while reaching towards its own growth.

This is the spirit behind Oshitayi: a living community of initiates, connected through shared experience, ancestral learning and the ongoing journey of integration.

We recognise that initiation can open profound doors within a person. The experiences, teachings and responsibilities that follow deserve time, reflection, guidance and community.

For this reason, every initiation cohort will be welcomed into a dedicated Telegram circle, creating a space to remain connected for six months following initiation.

Within this circle, we will:

* Share experiences, reflections and questions as we integrate our initiation journeys.

* Offer peer connection, encouragement and mutual support.

* Explore the energetic, emotional and spiritual themes arising along the way.

* Hold space for the different rhythms and experiences of each initiate.

* Continue learning through respectful dialogue, reflection and shared wisdom.

THE OPEN CIRCLE

Every two months, we will gather online for an open circle facilitated by the school's guides.

These gatherings will create space to reflect on current energetic and seasonal themes, share experiences, ask questions and reconnect with the teachings.

They are an opportunity to pause, listen, learn from one another and ensure that no initiate feels they have to navigate their integration journey in isolation.

 FROM COHORT TO COVEN

After the six-month post-initiation integration container, each cohort will become part of the wider Oshitayi Coven — a growing community bringing together initiates from every cohort of the African School of Initiation.

As new branches emerge, they remain connected to the same tree.

Oshitayi is where relationships continue beyond the classroom and ceremony. It is where experiences are witnessed, friendships deepen, knowledge is shared and a sense of belonging can take root.

We do not believe that the journey of initiation should be treated as a single event with a beginning and an end. It is a relationship with knowledge, community, responsibility and continued growth.

We are many branches, connected to living roots.
